<narrative>During the recession of the early nineties, I kept my technical knowledge and skills up to date through <html:a href="projects/index.html">personal projects</html:a> and a self-devised course of intense <html:a href="studies/index.html">personal study</html:a>. But the recession exhausted all my capital. I could no longer sustain my business. <html:a href="tli/chap04/ageism.html">Age</html:a>, lack of an employer reference and other factors effectively barred me from future corporate employment. A 10 year search for work has proved <html:a href="tli/chap04/chap04.html">fruitless</html:a>. Thus relegated to a bare existence on this reprehensible pittance called <html:a href="tli/chap01/welfare.html">welfare</html:a>, I decided to turn my analytical skills to writing a book about the society and economic system under which I live. It is now published. It is called <html:a href="tli/index.html">The Lost Inheritance</html:a>. Any appropriate work opportunity would be very much appreciated.</narrative>
